Sized at just 18 inches wide and 32.35 inches high, the DW18SS31ADA is a built-in dishwasher designed for an easy fit under lower ADA compliant counters in smaller kitchen spaces. The stainless steel door features an attractive horizontal grain. The front control panel ensures intuitive operation, with large touch buttons and an easy-to-read key printed on the top panel. Wash programs include a heavy duty cycle for pots and pans, a regular wash function, Rinse & Hold, self-clean cycle, a 58-minute Quick & Dry setting, and Quick Wash for smaller loads that can be cleaned in 35 minutes. You can also specify a half load, extra rinse, extra drying, or rapid cleaning. Automatic detergent detection allows the dishwasher to sense the type of detergent in use, adjusting the washing program and drying system for the best performance. A time delay function allows you to program your wash cycles up to 24 hours in advance to best suit your schedule. The screen will also display indicators for softening salt, rinse aid, water cutoff, and overflow. Inside, the DW18SS31ADA features a stainless steel interior for lasting durability. Quality insulation helps to ensure a quiet 49 db performance. This unit features two slide-out racks to wash up to 8 place settings. The upper rack is best suited for cups and other lighter items, with adjustable side tines that make it easier to accommodate tall glasses or to stack smaller mugs. The lower rack is ideal for plates, pots, and other heavier soiled items. A removable cutlery basket with six sections makes it easy to keep your utensils together for quicker storage after a wash. With its convenient sizing, energy efficiency, and versatile design, the DW18SS31ADA is the ideal dishwasher for smaller kitchens with size restrictions.
